2016 Fiat 500X Engine & Fuel Economy
The new 2016 Fiat 500X fills a bit of the void in the previously singular line of Fiat cars in Canada. The standard turbocharged 1.4L MultiAir I-4 starts the bidding at 160hp and 184 lb-ft of torque, paired with either the 6-speed manual transmission or an available 9-speed automatic.
Upping the ante is the 2.4L four-cylinder that jumps those numbers up to 180hp and 175 lb-ft of torque, competing directly with most other four-doors its size, but adding available AWD into the mix. Initial EPA fuel ratings have not yet been released, though considering the reputation of every other Fiat car in Canada, you won't have reason expect anything less than a fuel miser from the all-new X.
